NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Recovery School District and charter school leaders plan to announce a new plan for increased test security and monitoring at a press conference today.
The press conference, scheduled for 10 a.m., comes as the Louisiana Inspector General conducts a criminal investigation into questionable test scores at Landry Walker High School.
Yesterday, the Algiers Charter Association placed the principal, two assistant principals and a teacher who served as test coordinator on administrative leave.
An investigative story published last week by Danielle Dreilinger from our partners at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune details the allegations at Landry-Walker.
Some contend the allegations are false, claiming the scores declined because Landry-Walker took in a number of students from other schools.
