WASHINGTON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Detectives track down two alleged drug dealers but are searching for two more following a Feb. 24 roundup that led to the arrests of 10 other suspects.
Deputies arrested Gary Becker, 34, following a high-sped chase on March 3. The Washington Parish Sheriff's Office learned that Becker was driving an SUV near Franklinton. When agents tried to pull him over, they said he led them on a chase of 80-90 miles-per-hour, along Highway 10, Highway 440 and Vernon School Road.
Becker crashed into a ditch, while trying to turn onto Highway 1056. Detectives arrested Becker and his two passengers, Vivian McAnnally Graves and Nicky Emmons. Deputies said they also found a .380 semi-automatic pistol at the scene. All three were booked with the charge of felon in possession of a firearm. Becker was also booked with distribution of heroin and Emmons also faces a charges of failure to appear.
The sheriff's office said members of the parish's drug task force found Pamela Duhon, the second wanted suspect from the Feb. 24 roundup, at her Bogalusa home on February 28.
Deputies continue their search for Juan DeJesus Magee, 33, and Terrell Hoffman, 33. Magee is wanted for distribution of heroin; his last known address was Anthony Road in Franklinton. Hoffman reportedly lives on Montgomery Street in Bogalusa and is wanted on a charge of distribution of illegal drugs.
