Kenner police arrest 3 of 4 suspects in armed robbery

KENNER, LA (WVUE) - Kenner police have arrested two adults and one juvenile in connection with an armed robbery in the Susan Park Subdivision.

According to police, the incident happened in the 2700 block on Dawson Street on March 17.

On Friday, Kenner police officers arrested 18-year-old Trevon Tatum, 18-year-old Jacoby Carter and a 16-year-old. A fourth suspect, Willie Morris, is still at large.

Police said on Thursday officers responded to an armed robbery about 7:29 p.m. in which the suspects held up a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman at gun point.

Tatum, Carter and the juvenile were arrested after the Kenner SWAT team executed a warrant at their home. A search of the house revealed the stolen property and a BB-gun resembling a real gun, believed to have been used in the robbery.

Tatum and Carter face two counts of armed robbery. The juvenile is in custody at a juvenile detention center.

Police are asking for the public's help in finding Morris.
