Man wanted for St. Bernard Avenue armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police ask for your help to find Albert Moore, 41.

Police said he is wanted for an armed robbery in the 1200 block of St. Bernard Avenue on April 3.

Police said a male victim told officers that around 10:30 a.m., his cell phone was stolen from his vehicle. When he called his phone in an attempt to locate it, he said Moore answered and agreed to meet with him.

Police said the victim initially offered Moore a reward for returning the phone, but once the phone was recovered, the victim changed his mind on paying Moore. When Moore didn't get the reward, he pulled out a handgun and threatened the victim.

Police said the victim then gave Moore $100  and the suspect fled the location in a gold 2001 Ford F-150 truck with license plate X809680.

Moore was described as a black male, around 5'4" tall, weighing 165 lbs. and wearing black jeans and a black hoodie.
