Tulane Police investigate three reports of indecent exposure
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Tulane University police are investigating three reports of man exposing himself to female students near the Uptown campus.
According to Tulane police reports, the first incident happened on Thursday evening at approximately 8:15 p.m. Campus police received a report of an "indecent exposure" on Freret Street near Calhoun Street.
The victim says she was walking toward campus, when a car pulled up to her and the driver asked for directions. As the she began to give directions, she realized the driver seated in the vehicle was masturbating. The victim walked away and the man sped off on Calhoun Street.
It was then learned from the New Orleans Police Department that a second incident had occurred earlier evening near South Claiborne and South Carrollton Avenues.
In that incident, the female victim told police she was walking in Palmer Park, when a man driving a vehicle asked a question. As she neared the vehicle, she saw the driver masturbating. She left the area and called Loyola Police.
While Tulane police were investigating the reports of indecent exposure, a third incident was reported to Loyola police by a female Loyola student. That incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Calhoun and Freret Street. Again, a female student reported a man in a vehicle masturbating as he asked for directions.
The description of the suspect is the same in all three incidents. He is described as a white male, approximately 40 and bald. He was wearing a purple LSU polo shirt. The vehicle is described as a silver or gray SUV with a decal sticker depicting a family on the back window.
