Police: Man identified for stealing cash, six pairs of Nike shoes, laptop

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police are asking for the public's help finding a man wanted in connection to an aggravated burglary. Investigators identified the suspect as 20-year-old Anthony Lockett.

On May 8th, around 1 a.m., the victim told police he was inside his Press Street home when someone knocked on the front door.

When the victim answered the knock, three suspects entered and placed an object to the back of the victim's head, which he believed was a gun.

The trio then fled with $300 cash, six pairs of Nike shoes, and a laptop computer.

NOPD identified Lockett as one of the burglars through the course of their investigation. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
