NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police say they're searching for a woman whose truck was used as the getaway vehicle in an attempted armed robbery at a motel.
Investigators believe 26-year-old Brittney Daughtery may know something about the attempted armed robbery on Mother's Day at the Motel 6 on Old Gentilly Road.
On May 8, police say a man in a black shirt pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at three people in the motel and demanded money. Officers say the victims told the gunman they didn't have any money, so he took off in a white Ford F-150 truck.
Investigators believe that truck belongs to Brittney Daughtery. Officers released a surveillance picture of the attempted robber in the black shirt and a picture of Daughtery.
If you have any information about this attempted armed robbery, you're urge to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
