2 men wanted for armed robbery in 7th Ward

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police look for two men they said used a gun to steal a man's cell phone, cash and car.

Police said it happened at 11:40 p.m. on May 13 in the 1600 block of North Roman Street.

The victim told police that when he got out of his vehicle, the two men walked up to him, one of them holding a blue steel semi-automatic handgun.

Police said the men took keys to the man's 2015 black BMW 328i, $300 in cash and a cell phone. The suspects were last seen driving the car west on North Roman Street and turning south on Lapeyrouse Street.

Police said one of the suspects is as a black male with a dark complexion, medium build, approximately 6' tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He has dreadlocks and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black stonewashed jeans. The second man is described as a black male, wearing a hoodie and dark pants.
