NOPD on the hunt for suspect in Wagner's armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are looking for help from the public in their search for a man accused of armed robbery.

Police are looking for Paul Robinson, 28, who is wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a business on St. Claude Avenue.

On June 10 around 3 a.m., Robinson reportedly entered the Wagner's Supermarket in the 3200 block of St. Claude and pulled out a small, black, semi-automatic handgun.

He demanded the clerk give him the money from the cash register and the clerk complied.

He then fled with an unknown amount of cash. Robinson should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on this incident should notify Detective Chad Cockerham or any Fifth District detective at 658-6050.
