Exclusive video shows arrest of suspect in JPSO deputy killing
JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (WVUE) - New, exclusive video was obtained by FOX 8 Wednesday of the arrest of a man accused of shooting and killing a Jefferson Parish deputy.
The cell phone video was captured by someone shortly after the shooting in the 1500 block of London Cross Street in Harvey.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed to FOX 8 that the video does depict deputies arresting the suspect accused of killing deputy David Michel.
A neighbor said she watched an arrest that included a confrontation with deputies. He was led away in handcuffs through a woman's home.
Neighbors said his face was bloody.
FOX 8 has blurred the faces of the officers because it is not known if any of them were working in an undercover capacity.
