Baton Rouge man busted in Bogalusa for selling drugs

BOGALUSA, LA (WVUE) - A Baton Rouge man was arrested for trying to sell drugs in front of a  Bogalusa bar, according to Washington Parish authorities.

Pokeyto Kendre Peters, 30, of South Harrells Ferry Road in Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule I drugs.

On June 29 Washington Parish deputies responded to a call about a man selling drugs at the Pub Lounge. When they arrived at the scene, several witnesses pointed out Peters.

Officers approached Peters telling him the reason he was being questioned. He admitted to being in possession of a few Ecstasy pills. He was cuffed and searched. Officers found 39 ecstasy pills in a plastic baggie.

Peters' bond has not yet been set.
