Police: Woman arrested in stabbing death of Cane's worker

KENNER, LA (WVUE) - A woman was arrested Friday in connection with the June 29 stabbing death of a fast food worker in Kenner.

Ariana Yanni Runner, 22, of Reserve is the fourth suspect arrested in the case. She faces second-degree murder, conspiracy-armed robbery, armed robbery (3-counts), and aggravated burglary.

The other suspects are Gregory Donald, Jr., 18, of Kenner; and Joshua Every, 23, and Mark Crocklen Jr., 24, both of LaPlace.

Investigators said they learned that Runner actively recruited suspects who committed the robbery at Raising Cane's but was not inside the getaway vehicle at the time of the robbery. Kenner Police are trying attempting to identify a fifth person, a female, who was inside the vehicle.  The investigation is ongoing.

Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser urges anyone with information to call Kenner Police Detective Brad Ricke at (504) 712-2214 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
