KENNER, LA (WVUE) - Kenner Police said Tuesday that a female passenger sought in connection with the Raising Cane's robbery and murder has been located.

On Friday (July 1), a 13-year-old female, accompanied by her parents, arrived at the Kenner Police Department and admitted that she was the female passenger in the suspects' vehicle when the robbery and murder occurred, according to Police Chief Michael Glaser.

From the investigation and through interviews with the juvenile, witnesses and those involved in the planning of the the crime, it was learned that the juvenile did not have knowledge of what had been planned and was an unwilling participant. The juvenile only learned what was going to occur once the suspects arrived at the location and announced to her that they were robbing the store.

No charges have been filed against the juvenile.

Chief Glaser urges anyone with additional information about the crime to call Kenner Police Detective Brad Ricke at (504) 712-2214 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
