NOPD: Arrests made in attempted armed robbery at Lakeview Harbor restaurant

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police have made two arrests in an attempted armed robbery at Lakeview Harbor restaurant. The incident occurred Tuesday in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue.

Police say that Third District detectives along with the armed robbery task force known as Operation: TIGER (Tactical Intelligence Gathering and Enforcement Response) arrested 20-year-old Samuel Williams IV and 24-year-old Dominick Hayes, Friday night.

Authorities also recovered a weapon which police say was used in the incident. Both Williams and Hayes confessed to their roles in the robbery.

Both will be charged with attempted armed robbery and attempted murder, police say.
