Landrieu signs Open Data executive order

(WVUE) - New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu signed an open data executive order this afternoon that he says cements into city law his pledge to make New Orleans government more transparent.

The city has been using open data since 2012, and collecting the information gathered on subjects like blight status and road work across the city for any private citizen to see.
