(WVUE) - The official start of Fall is today, but it's certainly still feeling like summer!

Plan for unseasonably hot conditions the rest of the week with the skies remaining mostly dry.

Highs will remain in the 90s going into the weekend. Little, if any rain is expected through Friday.
By the weekend, moisture will slowly increase and bring in the chance for a few spotty storms.

Bigger changes are ahead next week as a major storm system moves into the Plains.

This will carry a cold front close to the area increasing the chance for showers and storms.

The clouds alone will bring highs back to more seasonable levels in the 80s. It's too early to say if the cold front will actually move through and bring lower temperatures and humidity.
