NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Mornings will continue to be nice and mild, especially north of the lake. The afternoons will be warm and dry. Temperatures during the afternoon will continue to run slightly above normal but the humidity shouldn't be too bad.
This weekend, there could be a couple of showers as a weak cold front passes, but most of the area will stay dry. Rain coverage at 20% or less. Humidity will rise and so will temperatures, so plan on it feeling a little hotter.
Even early next week there is no sign of a cold front. Humidity will also continue to run a bit higher than normal.
In the tropics, Nicole is again a hurricane and will likely strike Bermuda on Thursday. Elsewhere tropical development is not expected.
