WALKER, LA (WVUE) - A Walker woman was arrested Saturday for drug possession and distribution charges, according to Thibodaux police.
Janice David, 28, of the 33500 block of Percy Young Road faces several charges after the car she was riding in was pulled over after it was seen crossing the center line on South Acadia Road.
During the stop, officers found the driver, Christopher Bisco, did not have a valid driver's license. He also did not have a proper inspection sticker and the license plate on the vehicle was registered to another car.
Police then found a digital scale inside of the car along with nearly 12 grams of what was believed to be crystal meth, 75 suspected ecstasy pills, just over a half a gram of suspected heroin, five suspected klonopin pills, one gram of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia in David's possession.
The drugs were packaged in a way that led police to believe they were for sale.
Janice David is charged with:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin
- Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Klonopin
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
The car was towed and Bisco was cited for his offenses.
David was booked at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center where she is being held on a $21,000 bond.
