NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Google acknowledges hackers find renewed success targeting users of Android smartphones with malware.
The Verge reports the malware is compromising devices at a rate of roughly 13,000 per day. The malware spreads through what appears to be legitimate apps. When someone downloads what is really a malicious app, malware provides access to a user's Gmail, drive and photos.
