TERREBONNE PARISH, LA (WVUE) - Terrebonne Parish detectives are searching for a woman who is accused of stealing wallets and purses from employees at two separate hospitals, as well as a Sam's Club store.
According to investigators, the woman took credit cards obtained in those thefts and purchased prepaid credit cards. In all, the woman was able to purchase approximately $3,000 of the prepaid cards.
The two hospitals involved in the thefts include workers at Terrebonne General Hospital and Leonard Chabert Medical Center. In both cases, the suspected thief is believed to have gained access to an employee zone area, where only workers are authorized to be. The other theft happened at the Sam's Club store in Houma. All three thefts occurred on November 21, 2016.
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office has released a picture of the suspect. They're asking anyone who can identify her to call Terrebonne Parish detectives, (985)876-2500, or Bayou Region Crime Stoppers, 1(800)743-7433, and may be eligible for a cash reward.
