Heroin suspect found slumped over wheel

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans police discovered a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle along the I-10 service road and quickly found themselves in the middle of a drug investigation.

They say the Iben Oneal's driver's license was suspended and he had a parole violation. A search turned up 83 individually packaged bags of a brown, powdery substance and two plastic bags containing a white powder-like substance.

Officers also recovered a Glock handgun.

Oneal is booked with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of cocaine and illegal carrying of a weapon by a felon.
