Saints and Pelicans owner ranks among richest people on the planet

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Saints and Pelicans owner Tom Benson makes it on this year's Forbes list of the richest people on the planet.
Benson comes it at #782 with a net worth of $2.6 billion. He shares that ranking with 31 other people, including Napster creator and former Facebook president Sean Parker.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates ranks #1 on this year's list with a net worth of $86 billion. Businessman Warren Buffet and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos round out the top three.
