(WVUE) - Friday will see more clouds as brisk southeasterly winds push in warm, humid air.
Highs will reach the upper 70s and low 80s. A stray shower or storm will be possible Friday afternoon and evening, but most of the day will be dry.
Storm chances will increase overnight and tomorrow morning. Some storms could be strong or severe.
The main threats include locally heavy rain and strong winds. Isolated storms that produce large hail and/or a tornado cannot be ruled out.
The severe threat will diminish around noon, but some showers may linger into the afternoon.
Drier weather is expected on Sunday before another system brings a chance for a few showers or stray storm early next week.
