St. Tammany detectives seek information about missing man

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA (WVUE) - St. Tammany Parish detectives are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man.

Jeremy Steven Loyacano, 29, was reported missing by his family more than a week ago. Initially, STPSO investigators believed Loyacano was in the Covington area, however, new information has led investigators to the south shore. Newly obtained surveillance video shows Loyacano near a gas station in Metairie shortly after 10 a.m. on March 27. Foul play is not suspected, but cannot be ruled out at this time.

Investigators are concerned about Loyacano's well-being and are asking anyone who has seen him or knows his whereabouts to contact Detective Parker at 985-726-7852, call 911, or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.

Loyacano is deascribed as being 6'4" tall and approximately 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a blue/grey hoodie, blue T-shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.
