(WVUE) - Wednesday will start off warm, muggy with a few showers around as well. There is a chance for a stray strong storm, especially along the coast and eastward.
Highs will reach near the 80-degree mark around midday, then the long-awaited cold front will arrive to clear the skies and start cooling things down.
Temperatures will fall to the upper 40s overnight on the north shore and the mid-50s on the south shore with a northwesterly wind.
Fest goers will be happy to know that Thursday through Sunday looks dry and sunny with pleasant temperatures.
The next storm chance won't arrive until the middle of next week.
