NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - NOPD officers welcome a new addition to their force. They announced April 11 the birth of a 75 pound female foal at the department's stables in City Park.

The horse was born April 9. We don't have her name yet. She's the second foal to come out of the NOPD's horse-breeding program.

The NOPD welcomed the birth of Tebo Stardust in March. The boy started following every move his mother made just days after birth. It could take nearly three years to get him trained to serve.
