NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office recruit Aerion Comeaux was arrested on April 15, charged with harboring a fugitive.

According to our partners at Nola.com the Times-Picayune, New Orleans Police Department officers working with OPSO officers arrested Comeaux after she was questioned about the whereabouts of Rondell Hall, who was wanted for questioning in a domestic battery case.

Comeaux told police was not at an uptown home. Police searched the home but it turned up empty. But when police later conducted a second search of the home, Hall was found hiding in the attic.

Comeaux, who joined the OPSO in July 2015 was suspended without pay and an internal review is underway.
