(WVUE) - Highs will top out in the mid-80s Wednesday afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Rain chances will hover around 20 percent, and this pattern should continue for the rest of the work week.
Thursday, the right conditions could come together for some areas to see a strong storm or two, but most will remain dry.
Finishing out the week and starting the weekend, plan for the very warm conditions.
Saturday evening and overnight, a few showers and storms will cross the area as a cold front approaches.
Refreshingly cool air will follow on Sunday with temperatures falling throughout the day. Afternoon temperatures could dip into the 60s on a brisk northwesterly wind.
