NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After a chilly finish to October, November is starting off well above average.
Highs will be around 80 degrees into the weekend. It looks mostly dry with just a few stray showers on Thursday and Friday.
Patchy fog will become an issue each morning as humidity rises and temperatures fall into the 60s overnight.
By late in the weekend and early next week, highs will reach toward the mid 80s making it feel pretty hot for this time of year.
The next chance for a cold front doesn't appear likely until the late part of next week.
