Temperatures in the 80s for first week of November
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A nice weekend is ahead but it will be too warm by November standards. A stray shower or two is possible mainly north of the lake on Friday, otherwise a dry forecast is anticipated through the weekend.
By early next week it will be almost hot with highs pushing the middle 80s. That is very close to record high territory for this time of the year. For perspective, our average high is around 76.
It appears a cold front should arrive by the end of next week. The timing is uncertain, but some time around Thursday seems most likely.
