(WVUE) - For the second consecutive year, De La Salle has navigated the regular season without a blemish, finishing the run off with a 38-14 dismantling of Donaldsonville Thursday night.

Senior quarterback Julien Gums once again led the way as the Cavaliers scored on all six of their first half possessions and Gums totaled over 350 yards of offense.

After the game, DLS coach Ryan Manale took time to recognize the feat of two straight undefeated seasons "Hats off to my players. We want to sustain success. We wanted to build a program with character. That's what we're doing. We're leading on. We're trying to make our school and alums very proud. I couldn't more proud of my coaches and players. It's a special place at De La Salle."
