NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - Parkway Tavern is known for their Thanksgiving Poboy that draws a cult following every Wednesday in November and this year the eatery is turning the love for the sandwich into a fundraiser.

The poboy is so popular it draws crowds out to the Mid City restaurant before doors even open and often creates lines that snake out the door as hundreds of people wait patiently for the Thanksgiving delight.

This year Parkway will let you skip the line for a $100 donation that goes directly to the Al Copeland Foundation and their efforts to fight cancer.

The donation gets you a large poboy, sweet potato fries, Abita Beer's new seasonal draft, and an exclusive t-shirt that is also on sale for $25.

All of the money from the t-shirts and the skip the line donation goes directly to the foundation.

For more information on how to help or skip the line visit the foundation's website here.
