NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans Management Director Paul Rainwater told our partners Nola.com | The Times-Picayune that the agency is suspending water shutoffs to homes and businesses who haven't paid delinquent bills.
The suspension was a response to criticism against the agency miscalculating what customers owed each month.
Residents and businesses have complained of large jumps in rates month-to-month.
