Bloom wants recount following close New Orleans City Council election

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - After a narrow win for the New Orleans City Council District B seat by Jay Banks, Seth Bloom said he wants a recount.

Banks won by 131 votes, but Bloom said he won't concede.

The controversy – Bloom said absentee ballots were tossed out and he wants an investigation.

He said he will concede to Banks if the votes are still in his favor after the recount.
