Report: Man charged after stealing drink from woman's hand
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A 42-year-old was charged on Thanksgiving after being accused of stealing an alcoholic beverage from a woman near Lee Circle, according to a report from our partners Nola.com | The Times-Picayune.
The report said Kevin Brown allegedly punched a 24-year-old woman in the face and "grabbed an alcoholic beverage from her hand" after a verbal altercation in the 1000 block of St. Charles Avenue.
Brown was booked into Orleans Parish jail shortly after 10 p.m. on four counts including two for simple robbery, one for cocaine possession and one for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the article.
