TERRYTOWN, LA (WVUE) - A Terrytown man is wanted after being accused of shooting his brother during an argument Thursday morning, according to a report by our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office said in the report that the victim was in stable condition, but no information regarding his injuries were released.
Investigators obtained a warrant for the arrest of Sterling Trufant, 55, according to the report.
JPSO said in the report that the victim was shot in an apartment in the 200 block of Holmes Boulevard around 5:43 a.m.
Trufant and his brother were arguing over a female friend of Trufant's, though it was not clear why her visit caused the argument, according to the report.
