FFF: Super Bowl locations should no longer be in cold weather cities

(WVUE) - In this edition of FFF I look at banning cold weather Super Bowls, Manchester United gains another big-time star, and my Restaurant of the Year.

Look at the cover pic for this post, I look miserable. You know what, I was!! The week leading up to the Saints-Vikings game was awful weather-wise. Below zero temperatures on Friday and Saturday. No one should have to deal with this nastiness.

Next week, fans of New England, Philadelphia, and corporate types will be dealing with this blustery weather. But they shouldn't have to.

This game should be a relief from the cold, a vacation with shorts involved. I know Minneapolis built a new stadium, and that's why they're hosting. This should be the last time the league does this.

Guess what, next week, the weather will be nasty again. This may be one of the coldest gameday temperatures for any Super Bowl hosting site on record. Enjoy my football friends.

Manchester United picked up another huge star in Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal. He'll make a half-a-million pounds per week with the Red Devils. That's some primo cash Sanchez will be pulling in.

This won't be enough to catch Manchester City in The English Premier League, but he could no doubt help in the Champions League (Championship of European clubs).

Brett Anderson of the NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune started picking his "Restaurant of the Year" in 2017. So far he's picked Compère Lapin and Upperline. Both fantastic spots in our great city.

My choice for Restaurant of the Year is Clancy's. The atmosphere and the food combine to make it a can't-miss experience.

Nestled in the heart of Uptown, Clancy's clientele is usually locals, but tourist do find their way to this eatery.

Start with the crabmeat salad, then veal with crabmeat and Bernaise, and the finisher, butterscotch budino.

Just talking about the menu has me salivating. I'm no doubt counting down the minutes until my next visit.
