Emeril Lagasse talks food, foundation

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - He owns 14 restaurants, four of them in New Orleans, and blends into the landscape like a native.
Emeril Lagasse grew up in Fall River, MA, the son of a Portuguese mother and a French Canadian father. He was a drummer in high school and played in a band, and his mother watched his love for cooking flourish while working at a Portuguese bakery.
FOX 8's Nancy Parker sits down with the man known for kicking it up a notch about his passion for food and the foundation that helps young people reach for their dreams.
