NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department says a woman was robbed by two men on a bike in Hollygrove Saturday afternoon.

The robbery happened just after 1 p.m. near the intersection of Live Oak Street and Fig Street.

According to the victim, she was walking her dog when she was approached by two men on a bike. One of the suspects was wearing a white mask on his face and the other was wearing a black bandana over his face and a black hoodie.

One of the suspects demanded that the victim hand over her dog but she refused. The suspect then implied he had a gun and gave her the choice to either hand over her dog or her purse. The victim chose to hand over her purse and the suspects told her to walk away.

The victim says the suspects then fled on the bike in an unknown direction.

If anyone has any information about this robbery, they are asked to contact Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
