NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - One more day with nice and dry weather before things change very quickly on Saturday.
A rapidly developing area of low pressure will move to our north on Saturday and produce fairly widespread showers and a few storms. The system will strengthen once it moves to our east taking the rain with it.
Fairly windy weather will spread across the area on Sunday but the rain will be gone. Cold air arrives again on Monday with windy weather continuing. Below-normal temperatures return next week with the chance of some frost north and west of the lake by late week.
