Report: Saints backup QB Chase Daniel going to the Bears

(WVUE) - The Saints backup quarterback in 2017, Chase Daniel, is headed to the Windy City according to the NFL Network's Peter Schrager. Daniel is getting 2-year deal, worth $10 million, according to Ian Rapaport of the NFL Network.. He gets $7 million guaranteed, and it's voidable after one year.
On a conference call Drew Brees gave his thoughts on losing Daniel to the Bears.
"He's a great QB to have in the room. I think he's going to be a very productive QB," said Brees.
Taysom Hill is the only quarterback currently under contract for the Black and Gold.
