NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The Mardi Gras Indians Super Sunday at AL Davis Park has been postponed because of this weekend's rainy forecast, according to a report by our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune
The new date is Sunday, March 25, according to the report.
It was originally scheduled for Sunday. Downtown Super Sunday is April 8 at 1 p.m.
Super Sunday offers the second of two traditional dates members of the public can see Mardi Gras Indians in their intricately beaded and feathered suits, according to the report.
Uptown Super Sunday starts at 11 a.m. at AL Davis Park at the corner of Washington Avenue and LaSalle Street. The parade starts at 1 p.m.
