Governor will announce new projects to prevent flooding

GRETNA, LA (WVUE) - The Louisiana Governor will be in Gretna Friday to announce new projects to help prevent flooding.
Governor John Bel Edwards will speak at 10:00 a.m. to discuss ten projects that will spread across six parishes.
The projects were developed through LA Safe, a program meant to engage coastal resident sin plans to protect the coast.
The projects were developed with projected flood risks in mind.
