Mayor-elect LaToya Cantrell announces public safety team

Mayor-elect LaToya Cantrell announced key members of her public safety team on Wednesday.

Colin Arnold will serve as Homeland Security Director.

Dr. Emily Nichols will serve as new Director of Emergency Medical Services.

Chief Tim McConnell will remain on with the New Orleans Fire Department.

The administration will also retain the leadership of New Orleans Police Superintendent Michael Harrison.

Tanisha Stevens will join the administration as Criminal Justice Commissioner.
