NOPD seeking missing Algiers man suffering from dementia

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a man who went missing after his daily walk in Algier.

Floyd Davis, 80, was last heard from on Wednesday.

According to NOPD, Davis' son discovered he was not at his home in the 5700 block of Brunswick Court. The son assumed he went for his daily walk.

On Thursday when the son still had not seen his father, he notified NOPD.

Davis is described as 5'9 weighing approximately 150 pounds.

Davis suffers from dementia and in the past was located on the East Bank of New Orleans.
