NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A grand jury indicted nine alleged members of the notorious D-Block Gang on racketeering charges that included 45 overt acts.
New Orleans police said they had been trafficking heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and other drugs in the Seventh Ward neighborhood since July of 2017.
According to the indictment, the members would use social media to talk about their membership, and even wore certain clothes to signify their affiliation with the gang.
The NOPD, district attorney's office, DEA and ATF released further details in a news conference Tuesday. See video below.
