KENNER, LA (WVUE) - Kenner police arrested a woman who shot her husband after the two were engaged in an argument.

According to police, 40-year-old Tammy Bush of Kenner drove her 41-year-old husband to Ochsner in Kenner, Saturday at 6:03 a.m. to receive treatment for a gunshot wound.

Investigators learned that the couple, who have been married for 15 years, were arguing at their home in the 2700 block of Panama Street. Tammy asked her husband to leave which he did. As he backed out of the driveway, she fired five shots from a handgun at him. Three rounds hit the windshield with one of them hitting her husband in the neck.

Tammy Bush was arrested and as of Monday afternoon, remains in police custody with no bond set.
