NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Strong high pressure settles in this week and our area will be right on the edge. That means disturbances rotating around the high will bring a slight increase in storm chances Tuesday and Wednesday. Some of these storms could be strong with the main impacts being heavy rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds.
As the high strengthens and expands east, temperatures go back up. Rain chances come down just the opportunity for spotty afternoon storms.
