(WVUE) - At 37 years old, tight end Ben Watson is the second oldest player on the team. But his play last season in Baltimore, coming off an injury, proved his age hasn't slowed him down yet. He finished 2017 with 61 receptions and four touchdowns for the Ravens.
Watson's last season in New Orleans in 2015 was the best of his career statistically. He finished with 74 receptions, 825 yards and six touchdowns.
The tight end position hasn't had much production since Watson left three years ago. With him back, the hope is Watson can restore stability there while also being the solid locker room presence he's always been.
