Report: JP murder suspect had heroin in jail

GRETNA, LA (WVUE) - Authorities have re-arrested a murder suspect awaiting trial at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
According to our partners at NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, a guard accused 22-year-old Shecorey Young of trying to throw out a box of playing cards that had heroin.
Young is one of three defendants accused in a fatal double shooting in River Ridge in 2016, according to the report.
Investigators said Young shot and killed 34-year-old Jeffery Johnson, and wounded a 16-year-old.
He is facing second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder charges.
